Join us the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month for a 30 minute storytime followed by open play time. This program is designed for children ages 5 and under and their caregivers. This edition of Stories and Play will feature Musical Tales at the Library, presented by Tree City Chamber Players, a 45-minute event featuring story telling interjected with live classical music by Ravel, Bizet, and more, featuring flute, oboe and piano. Children's books featured: The Bear and the Piano written and illustrated by David Litchfield, and Wild Symphony by Dan Brown, illustrated by Susan Batori. Tree City Chamber Players features Melanie Keller, flute, Ryan Klein, oboe, and Chad Spears, piano. These events are free thanks to a generous grant from the Boise City Department of Arts and History.
